Robot Access
- The combination to the cabinet containing the robots is 1964.
- Do not tell this combination to others!
- Be sure to lock the cabinet before you leave the lab!
Image Display: When working on a Lab workstation, images from the robot may not appear. If not, type the following line in your terminal window:
```
         export OBJC_DISABLE_INITIALIZE_FORK_SAFETY=YES 
```
Printing: To print from the lab, use the printer with the address 130.157.167.155

This course uses MyroC software, release MyroC.3.3a.

MyroC documentation is available in three formats:

The MyroC software is available for Linux, Mac OS X (through OS X Catalina), and Windows 10. Detailed installation instructions are available at http://walker.cs.grinnell.edu/MyroC/#installation-eSpeak/MyroC.

With Apples's move to Mac OS X Big Sur with the M1 processor,

Most elements involved with controlling the Scribbler 2 robot port to the new hardware without trouble.
However, OpenGL, the infrastructure utilized to display images (e.g., from the robot's camera) have not ported cleanly to the new environment. Although issues installing this library may be resolved over time, the display of images currently does not work properly (as of December 2021).
